Former full-time 3D architectural visualization artist, turned full-time comic creator, turned part time door-dasher, turned part time librarian, turned PART-time comic creator!
Graduated with a college degree in 3D modeling and animation in 2013. The well motivated, one-man creative team for Cinder!
Why Cinder?
I've always had an affinity for making comics in my spare time. I believe I can tell a story through unique and unparalleled art that delivers a message stronger than any words can, and I'm here to prove it with your help! I have a part-time job at my local library and am (perhaps delusionally) devoted to making Cinder work even after 3+ years of financial turmoil.
How long will Cinder be?
This first introductory arc will be 5 issues long. From there the journey truly begins! It takes at least 1.5 years to make an issue entirely by myself, and with a part-time job now, who knows what that number will be. I think about Cinder EVERY day.
Cinder is my go to when my mind wanders, and it wanders often.
"What's a Derpo?"
I had someone ask me that at a vendor event and it still makes me laugh.

In short, Derpo is my best friend and hopefully yours too one day :)

Derpo is a nodling in the world of Nod (hence the title). Derpo runs a distillery in the southern Nod hillside, making and bottling Pumpkin Juice for the kingdom.

Oh yeah and a skeleton named Cinder is in this comic too. He's pretty rad. Breathes fire and does cool shit to keep Derpo safe.
That's all for now
Stay spooky!
Below is a collection of my non-Cinder work

Only piece created on cardboard. All other pieces were on paper with pencil, inks, and sharpie.

"Alone again, and bathed in an aura of tobacco, he stares once more at the display, wavering in the air as the little tufts of smoke pass through it."

"He takes Korso by the shoulders, pulling the dumbstruck man close to him, so close he can smell the tang of sweat and rain"

"...clad in the steel hoses and leather suits of his dead comrades,"

"If she could see his features, she might be surprised to see an honest frown marring his lips."

"He wrenches the pistol again from his belt and fires another slug into the creature's skull."

"and then he laughs with his friend, his partner, and they bathe in their hysteria as the car spears through the moonlit hills."
